The Dream Giver

What can I say about this book? It was suggested to me at a time when I needed it.

The main character of the book is Ordinary who lives in the land of Familiar. Ordinary is quite satisfied with his life until he discovers a dream in the deepest reaches of his heart. The desire to fulfill that dream grows and grows until Ordinary can't take it any more and sets out on a journey to live his dream.

This story is about each of us and how we all have a wonderful life we were born to live. It is about how God will guide us to the place we need to be and help us over the hurdles and passed the nay-sayers we will encounter.

I recommend this book for everyone who has a dream and for those who think they don't. It will change the way you feel about being comfortable in a boring life.

The Girl in the Steel Corset

I was excited from the first pages. Once again, Finley began with kicking butt!!! The new characters in this 2nd book are as complex as Finley and I love the way their "special abilities" are slowly revealed.

I had a hard time putting this book down. The ending again was a bit rushed as with the first book, but overall, I love Finely and can't wait to see what trouble she gets into next.

The Strange Case of Finley Jayne

Entertaining and fun. Kady did well keeping to the steampunk setting while telling Finley's story. The book was a short nine chapters and a quick read, but it held my interest. It was rushed a bit at the end as though the author needed to hurry to the next story, which is what she did...lead into the next story. I will be reading that book soon and hope it is as good as this one.
